Japan’s Arcadia Magazine organized a Street Fighter 4 tournament pitting the legendary player Daigo Umehara, appropriately nicknamed “The Beast”, against some of Japan’s top contenders. The Beast Daigo Umehara is not only Capcom’s player of the decade, but also accomplished what Gamepro Magazine heralds as the #1 biggest moment in pro-gaming when Daigo climatically defeated Justin Wong with a super move in a Street Fighter 3rd Strike match during the 2004 Evolution Tournament.
